Kids Club and The Zone
We provide weekly groups for children, teens and young adults during term time.
These groups are an opportunity for children and young people to practice new skills, experience positive social interaction, and develop a sense of belonging in a safe and welcoming environment. Under the guidance of speech and language and occupational therapists, they come together to learn life skills and enjoy time with their peers in a wide variety of activities.
To determine the appropriate group for the child, teen or young adult an initial assessment takes place. View assessment information.
Kids Club
Aimed for primary aged children, Kids Club provides a fun and structured environment for children. Emphasis is on self-awareness and self-regulation, as well as employing appropriate social problem solving techniques.
These are developed through game playing, electronics, sports and leisure activities, small group work with therapists, daily living skill activities and community outings.
The Zone
The Zone provides an opportunity for teens and young adults to hang out and develop real friendships, whilst having fun and reducing social anxiety. It gives them a chance to ‘get off the computer’ and find other ways to be entertained, as well as developing social and emotional intelligence skills, independence and self-regulation, and learning to interact positively with others in a group.
Activities include gaming, meal planning and cooking, art and craft, and organising social outings (e.g. meals in a restaurant, movies, ten pin bowling, walking etc).

Our goal is to create a place that engages each child, teen and young adult so that they develop a sense of belonging and self-worth
